The Alloy FCR200ST is a versatile 100Mbps Fast Ethernet media converter that enables seamless conversion between 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 copper connections and 100Base-FX multimode fibre with an ST connector. Supporting fibre cable lengths of up to 2 kilometers, this dual-purpose device can be used as a standalone converter or installed into Alloy’s DCR12 Series 12-slot Media Converter Chassis for rackmount applications.

Key features include automatic MDI/MDIX detection on the RJ-45 port, auto-sensing of speed and duplex modes, and comprehensive Link Fault PassThrough (LFP) functionality with both Far-end-Fault (FEF) and Forced Modes (FM) for enhanced network fault monitoring and troubleshooting. The FCR200ST is powered either by the included external plugpack or via a supplied USB cable compatible with USB v1.1/2/3 ports.
