The ATEN KA7169 KVM Adapter Cable is designed to seamlessly connect KVM switches to the DisplayPort video and USB ports of target computers, enabling efficient control and management. This next-generation adapter supports DisplayPort video output alongside USB connectivity for Smart Card/CAC support, delivering outstanding signal compensation and reduced delay skew technologies to enhance video quality up to 1920 x 1200 resolution (with reduced blanking).

Its compact and lightweight design makes it ideal for server rooms and rack-mounted setups. Featuring Auto Signal Compensation (ASC), the KA7169 eliminates the need for manual DIP switch adjustments for varying cable lengths. The adapter also emulates keyboard and mouse to ensure server operation continuity during KVM port switching or disconnection.

Equipped with a built-in ASIC, this adapter offers enhanced reliability and compatibility, supports lifetime firmware upgrades, and integrates multiple connectors including one RJ-45 female (link), two USB Type A male (for computer), and one DisplayPort male connectors. Note that virtual media and CAC reader functionalities have limited support depending on the KVM switch model.

Important Compatibility Note: There is a compatibility issue with Intel® HD/UHD Graphics 630; ATEN recommends using the KA7168 solution with VC985 or VC986 converters for these systems.
