The ATEN KE6940AR is a high-performance DVI-I Dual Display KVM over IP receiver designed for remote console access of computer systems via an intranet. Supporting two DVI displays with lossless, low-latency video transmission up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz with 24-bit color depth, this receiver enables IT administrators to securely manage systems placed in temperature-controlled or isolated environments.

Equipped with both RJ-45 and 1Gbps SFP fiber optic connectivity options (SFP modules sold separately), the KE6940AR supports network expansions up to 10 km via fiber, providing flexible wired or fiber-based LAN installations. Dual power inputs and network ports ensure failover redundancy, enhancing reliability for mission-critical applications.

When integrated with ATEN's KVM over IP Matrix Manager (CCKM), it supports centralized device discovery, authentication, authorization, and advanced matrix configurations including point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-point, or multipoint-to-multipoint setups. Additional features include high-speed USB 2.0 virtual media for remote OS installations and data transfers, audio support, RS-232 serial interface for extended control, and EDID Expert technology for optimal display compatibility.

The robust metal chassis features fanless operation alongside industrial-grade protections such as 8kV/15kV ESD and 2kV surge protection, making it well-suited for professional environments. Multiple concurrent user access modes are available: Exclusive, Occupy, Share, and View only, ensuring suitable security and usability.
