The S400 supports zero-trust security through NetCloud Secure Connect SASE—including Zero Trust Private Access, Zero Trust Internet Access, and Zero Trust SD-WAN—managed via Cradlepoint NetCloud Manager for zero-touch deployment, live diagnostics, and centralized control.

The device includes a single-radio, dual-band Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac) adapter operating non-concurrently on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to extend local IoT endpoint connectivity.
