Designed exclusively for M Key NVMe SSDs (not compatible with SATA M.2 SSDs), the SE509 supports common M.2 form factors including 2242, 2260, and 2280, making it versatile for various SSD sizes. The sleek, lightweight enclosure is USB bus-powered and requires no external power supply, making it highly portable and ideal for professionals and enthusiasts on the go.

The reversible USB-C connector enables quick, hassle-free connection to USB 3.2 Gen 2 enabled hosts. Additionally, the enclosure includes an LED indicator that visibly signals power and data activity status. Out of the box, it comes complete with a USB-C to USB-C cable (10Gbps), USB-C to USB-A cable (5Gbps), screwdriver, screws, and standoff for easy installation.

Compatible with Windows 7+ and macOS 10.5+ operating systems, the SE509 is a plug-and-play device requiring no driver installation. Please note that new drives may require initialization in disk management. Due to the high speed of NVMe SSDs, operating temperatures can reach between 60–70°C under heavy workloads - a normal condition for these drives.
