Featuring dual-radio operation across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and a 2x2:2 radio configuration, the AP6 420X delivers a combined maximum theoretical throughput of 2975 Mbps (575 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 2400 Mbps on 5 GHz). It comes equipped with four external omnidirectional antennas (two for each band) and Type-N connectors for easy antenna upgrades with optional 120° sector or 30° directional antennas.

This device supports a multigigabit 2.5 Gbps Ethernet port with 802.3at PoE+ power, requiring 30 W power sourcing equipment. Installation is flexible with included mounting kits suited for pole or wall mounts.

Managed through the unified Sophos Central cloud platform, AP6 420X allows for streamlined wireless network management integrated with other Sophos security solutions such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and email security. Local UI management is available for single-AP setups.
