The Teltonika TRB140 is an ultra-compact, lightweight, and energy-efficient industrial LTE Cat 4 IoT gateway, designed to provide secure, reliable internet connectivity for mission-critical industrial applications. Featuring 4G LTE connectivity with speeds up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink, the gateway also supports 3G and 2G networks, ensuring wide network compatibility.

Equipped with a 1 Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), TRB140 allows seamless wired integration for industrial networks. It supports major industrial communication protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus, making it ideal for automation, smart metering, and remote monitoring applications.

Powered by an ARM Cortex-A7 1.2 GHz processor with 128 MB DDR2 RAM and 512 MB SPI Flash, the device runs on RutOS—an OpenWrt-based Linux system offering firmware customization, flexible SDKs, and support for multiple programming languages including Lua, C, C++, and Python.

The gateway supports advanced network functionalities including multiple VPN client/server types (WireGuard, SSTP, DMVPN, Tinc), MQTT, HTTP(S), Azure MQTT, AWS IoT Core integrations, and remote management through the Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS).

Designed for industrial environments, the TRB140 is rugged yet compact, packaged with a 9 W power supply unit, antenna, LAN cable, micro-USB cable, hex key, and quick start guide to facilitate easy deployment.
