Featuring three Gigabit RJ45 ports alongside a 1 Gbps SFP port for fiber connectivity, this device supports high packet-per-second throughput—up to 3.4 million packets per second for 64-byte packets and a line rate of up to 4 Gbps on larger packets.

Designed for quiet operation without fans, the EdgeRouter 4 operates reliably across a wide temperature range and humidity levels. It includes onboard flash storage (4 GB eMMC and 8 MB SPI NOR) to support the robust EdgeOS operating system, which offers an intuitive GUI, integrated CLI, and advanced routing, security, and monitoring features.
